Lawrence Creek Solar is a solar power facility located in Shafer, Minnesota, within the Midwest Reliability Organization region. With an operating capacity of 3.5 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is managed by Aurora Distributed Solar, which is also the majority owner, under the holding company Enel SpA. The facility operates in an unregulated environment and is part of the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area. The primary power purchaser for the energy produced at Lawrence Creek Solar is Northern States Power Company, making it a key player in the local renewable energy landscape.
