The plant is managed by the Lamar City of Colorado and is regulated under applicable industry standards. The primary owner of the plant is also the Lamar City of Colorado, which holds the majority stake. Additionally, the Arkansas River Power Authority is recognized as another owner of the facility. The plant contributes to the renewable energy landscape by harnessing wind as its fuel source.
