The Lakota Wind Wind Farm, located in Lakota, Iowa, operates under the Midwest Reliability Organization and features advanced wind turbine technology with an operating capacity of 10.5 MW. Managed by EDF Renewable Services, this unregulated facility harnesses wind energy to contribute to the local power grid. The majority ownership lies with Iowa Lakes Electric Cooperative, which also serves as the owner holding company. The primary power purchaser for the wind farm is Corn Belt Power Cooperative, ensuring a steady supply of renewable energy to the region.
