Lakota Ridge is a wind turbine facility located in Hendricks, Minnesota, operating under the Midwest Reliability Organization. With an operating capacity of 11.2 MW, the plant harnesses wind energy to generate electricity. It is managed by the Energy Operations Group and is unregulated in its operations. The majority ownership lies with CRT Wind, which is part of the Energy Operations Group holding company. The primary power purchaser for the energy produced at Lakota Ridge is Northern States Power Company, contributing to the region’s renewable energy supply within the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area.
