Lakewood Cheddar School is a solar power facility located in Lakewood, New Jersey, operating under the ReliabilityFirst Corporation within the NERC region. With an operating capacity of 1 MW, the plant contributes to the PJM Interconnection power control area. The facility is managed by MN8 Energy, which serves as both the plant operator and majority owner. The ownership structure is supported by The Goldman Sachs Group, the holding company for MN8 Energy. As an unregulated entity, Lakewood Cheddar School harnesses solar energy, utilizing the sun as its primary fuel source to generate clean, renewable power.
