Lake Catherine is a steam turbine power plant located in Malvern, Arkansas, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. With an operating capacity of 522 MW, it plays a significant role in the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area. The plant is operated and primarily owned by Entergy Arkansas, a subsidiary of Entergy Corporation, and is regulated under state guidelines. Fueled by natural gas, Lake Catherine is connected to the Enable Gas Transmission pipeline, ensuring a reliable supply for its operations.
