The Koyle Ranch Hydroelectric Project, located in Gooding, Idaho, operates under the jurisdiction of the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (NERC Region). Utilizing hydraulic turbine technology, the facility has an operating capacity of 1.3 megawatts. The project is managed by Koyle Hydro, which serves as both the plant operator and majority owner. The power generated is integrated into the Idaho Power Co’s Power Control Area. As an unregulated entity, Koyle Hydro maintains its operational independence while harnessing water as its primary fuel source.
