Kennedy Solar is a solar power facility located in Warsaw, North Carolina, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. With an operating capacity of 4.9 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is operated by Kennedy Solar and is unregulated, providing flexibility in its operations. The majority ownership lies with Cypress Creek Renewables, under the holding company EQT Infrastructure V. The primary power purchaser for the energy produced is Duke Energy Progress, which manages the power control area for the facility.
