Kelford is a solar power plant located in Kelford, North Carolina, operating under the SERC Reliability Corporation region. With an operating capacity of 4.7 MW, the facility is part of the PJM Interconnection power control area. The plant is managed by the Twe Kelford Solar Project and is unregulated in its operations. Cypress Creek Renewables holds the majority ownership, while EQT Infrastructure V is the owner holding company. The plant harnesses solar energy, utilizing the sun as its primary fuel source, and sells its generated power primarily to Virginia Electric and Power Company.
