Johnson II Community Solar is a solar power facility located in North Branch, Minnesota, operating under the Midwest Reliability Organization. With an operating capacity of 1 MW, this plant utilizes solar technology to harness energy from the sun. The facility is managed by Impact Power Solutions and operates within the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area. As an unregulated entity, Johnson II Community Solar is majority-owned by New Energy Equity, which is a subsidiary of ALLETE. This project exemplifies a commitment to renewable energy and sustainable practices in the region.
