Jicarilla Solar 1 is a solar power facility located in Dulce, New Mexico, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council region. With an operating capacity of 50 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is operated by Hecate Energy NAF and is unregulated, with Hecate Energy serving as the majority owner and holding company. The primary power purchaser for the facility is TXNM Energy, and the plant is part of the Public Service Company of New Mexico’s power control area.
