The Jefferson-Lewis BOCES Solar facility, located in Watertown, NY, operates under the Northeast Power Coordinating Council. With a solar technology capacity of 2 MW, this unregulated plant harnesses the power of the sun to generate renewable energy. Operated by Tesla Energy Operations, which also holds the majority ownership, the facility supplies power to the New York Independent System Operator and primarily sells its output to the Tri-County Energy Consortium. Tesla, as the owner holding company, underscores its commitment to sustainable energy solutions in the region.
