Jacobstown is a solar power facility located in Wrightstown, New Jersey, operating under the jurisdiction of the ReliabilityFirst Corporation within the PJM Interconnection power control area. With an operating capacity of 5 megawatts, the plant harnesses solar energy to contribute to the region’s renewable energy portfolio. The facility is managed by NJR Clean Energy Ventures Corporation, which also serves as the majority owner, under the umbrella of its parent company, New Jersey Resources Corporation. As an unregulated entity, Jacobstown operates independently within the energy market, focusing on sustainable energy solutions derived from solar fuel.
