The Jacobson 5 MW Solar facility, located in Kingman, Arizona, operates under the jurisdiction of the Western Electricity Coordinating Council. With an operating capacity of 4.4 MW, this solar power plant utilizes advanced solar technology to harness energy from the sun. The facility is managed by Unisource Energy Services, which also holds majority ownership, under the umbrella of its parent company, Fortis. As an unregulated entity, the Jacobson Solar plant contributes to the energy supply within the Arizona Public Service Company’s power control area, reinforcing the region’s commitment to renewable energy sources.
