Innovative Solar 18 is a solar power plant located in Ellenboro, North Carolina, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. With an operating capacity of 1.9 MW, the facility harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. The plant is operated by Innovative Solar 18 and is unregulated, allowing for flexible operational strategies. Cypress Creek Renewables holds the majority ownership, while EQT Infrastructure V is the owner holding company. The primary power purchaser for the energy produced is Duke Energy Progress, and the plant contributes to the power control area managed by Duke Energy Carolinas.
