Impact Solar 1 is a solar power facility located in Deport, Texas, within the Texas Reliability Entity region. With an operating capacity of 198.5 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It operates under the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) power control area and is managed by Lightsource bp Renewable Energy Investments Limited, which is also the majority owner and holding company. The facility is unregulated and primarily sells its generated power to BP plc, utilizing the abundant sunlight as its fuel source.
