Huneke 2 is a solar power facility located in Zumbrota, Minnesota, operating under the jurisdiction of the Midwest Reliability Organization. With an operating capacity of 1 MW, the plant is part of the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area. The facility is managed by Huneke CSG 2 and is classified as unregulated. The majority ownership of the plant is held by Madison Energy Holdings, which is a subsidiary of EQT AB (publ). Utilizing solar energy as its primary fuel source, Huneke 2 contributes to the growing renewable energy landscape in the region.
