Highest Power Solar operates a solar power plant located in Louisburg, North Carolina, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. With an operating capacity of 48.7 MW, the facility harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. The plant is unregulated and is primarily owned by Pine Gate Renewables, which also serves as the owner holding company. Duke Energy Progress is the power control area managing the plant and is also the primary power purchaser, ensuring that the energy produced is effectively distributed.
