High River Energy Center is a state-of-the-art solar power facility located in Amsterdam, New York, within the Northeast Power Coordinating Council (NERC) region. With an operating capacity of 90 megawatts (MW), the plant plays a significant role in the New York Independent System Operator’s power control area. The facility is operated by NextEra Energy Resources, a leader in renewable energy, and is unregulated, allowing for flexible operational strategies.
