The Higginsville Solar Farm, located in Higginsville, Missouri, operates under the SERC Reliability Corporation region. With a capacity of 2.5 MW, this solar facility harnesses the power of the sun to generate renewable energy. Managed by MC Power Companies, which also holds majority ownership, the plant operates in an unregulated environment. The energy produced is primarily purchased by the Missouri Joint Municipal Electric Utility Commission, contributing to the region’s sustainable power supply while being part of the Southwest Power Pool’s control area.
