Hickory Run Energy Station is a combined cycle power plant located in New Castle, Pennsylvania, within the ReliabilityFirst Corporation NERC region. With an operating capacity of 1076.9 MW, the facility is managed by Hickory Run Energy and primarily utilizes gas as its fuel source. The plant operates in the PJM Interconnection power control area and is unregulated, with Tyr Energy as its majority owner under the ITOCHU Corporation holding company. The primary gas supply is sourced from the Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company.
