Harry Allen is a combined cycle power plant located in Overton, Nevada, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council region. With an operating capacity of 534.8 MW, the plant is owned and operated by Nevada Power Company, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway. The facility utilizes natural gas as its primary fuel source and is regulated under state guidelines. The plant’s power control area is managed by Nevada Power Company, and it sources its gas from the Kern River Gas Transmission Company.
