Hancock is a gas turbine power plant located in Commerce Township, Michigan, operating under the jurisdiction of the ReliabilityFirst Corporation within the NERC region. With an operating capacity of 124 megawatts, the facility plays a vital role in the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area. The plant is regulated and is primarily owned and operated by DTE Electric Company, a subsidiary of DTE Energy Company.
