The Hampton MN GRE facility, located in Randolph, Minnesota, operates under the jurisdiction of the Midwest Reliability Organization. This solar power plant boasts an operating capacity of 2 megawatts and is integrated into the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area. The facility is managed by Socore Operations Management and is classified as unregulated, allowing for flexible operational strategies. The majority ownership of the plant is held by ENGIE US Solar, a subsidiary of Engie SA, a global leader in energy transition. The plant harnesses solar energy, utilizing the sun as its primary fuel source, contributing to sustainable energy solutions in the region.
