Griffith is a solar power plant located in Griffith, Indiana, operating under the ReliabilityFirst Corporation NERC region. With an operating capacity of 2 MW, the facility is part of the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area. The plant is managed by EDF Renewables Distributed Solutions and is unregulated in its operations. Bright Plain Renewable Energy holds the majority ownership, with the same company serving as the owner holding entity. The plant harnesses solar energy, utilizing the sun as its primary fuel source, and sells its generated power to the Northern Indiana Public Service Company.
