Green River Solar is a 200 MW solar power plant located in Irvington, Kentucky, within the ReliabilityFirst Corporation NERC region. Operated by NextEra Energy Resources, this unregulated facility harnesses solar energy to generate electricity, primarily supplying power to the Northern Indiana Public Service Company. As part of the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area, Green River Solar reflects NextEra Energy’s commitment to renewable energy and sustainability.
