Green City Recovery is a biomass power plant located in Georgetown, Kentucky, operating under the SERC Reliability Corporation region. The facility utilizes internal combustion technology and has an operating capacity of 2 MW. It is part of the LG&E and KU Energy power control area. The plant is operated by Toyota Motor Sales USA and is classified as unregulated. The majority ownership is held by Waste Services of the Bluegrass, which also serves as the owner holding company. In addition to Waste Services of the Bluegrass, Toyota Motor Sales USA is recognized as another owner of the power plant.
