The Great Falls Hydro Project, located in Paterson, NJ, operates under the ReliabilityFirst Corporation NERC region. Utilizing hydraulic turbine technology, the facility has an operating capacity of 10.8 MW. It is part of the PJM Interconnection power control area and is managed by Great Falls Hydroelectric Co. The project is unregulated, with Eagle Creek Renewable Energy as the majority owner and Ontario Power Generation as the owner holding company. The primary fuel source is water, and the main power purchaser is Public Service Electric and Gas Company.
