Grand Prix Solar is a solar power facility located in Bedford Hills, New York, operating under the jurisdiction of the Northeast Power Coordinating Council. With an operating capacity of 1.6 megawatts, the plant contributes to the energy needs of the New York Independent System Operator’s Power Control Area. The facility is managed by Diamond Properties, which also serves as the majority owner and holding company. As an unregulated entity, Grand Prix Solar harnesses solar energy, utilizing the sun as its primary fuel source, to provide sustainable power solutions in the region.
