Goose Lake Solar Plant, located in Albert Lea, Minnesota, operates under the Midwest Reliability Organization with a capacity of 1.5 MW. Utilizing solar technology, the plant is managed by Socore Operations Management and is unregulated in its operations. The majority ownership lies with ENGIE US Solar, a subsidiary of Engie SA. The plant generates power from sunlight and primarily supplies electricity to Dairyland Power Cooperative, contributing to the region’s renewable energy landscape within the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area.
