The Goodman Energy Center, located in Hays, Kansas, operates within the Midwest Reliability Organization and utilizes internal combustion technology to generate power. With an operating capacity of 101.4 MW, the facility is regulated and primarily owned by Midwest Energy, which also serves as the owner holding company. The plant is operated by NAES Corporation and is part of the Southwest Power Pool power control area. It primarily uses gas as fuel, sourced from the Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline.
