Glenwood is a gas turbine power plant located in Glenwood Landing, New York, with an operating capacity of 123.7 MW. It falls under the jurisdiction of the Northeast Power Coordinating Council and operates within the New York Independent System Operator’s power control area. The plant is unregulated and is primarily owned and operated by National Grid Generation, a subsidiary of National Grid plc. Glenwood utilizes oil as its fuel source and primarily sells its generated power to the Long Island Power Authority.
