Glendo is a hydraulic turbine power generation facility located in Glendo, Wyoming, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region. The plant operates with a capacity of 38 megawatts and is part of the WAPA Colorado-Missouri Region’s power control area. The facility is managed by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, which also serves as the majority owner and holding company. As an unregulated entity, Glendo utilizes water as its primary fuel source, contributing to the region’s renewable energy portfolio.
