Glen Ullin Station 6 is a steam turbine power plant located in Glen Ullin, North Dakota, within the Midwest Reliability Organization’s jurisdiction. With an operating capacity of 5.3 MW, the facility is regulated and operated by Montana-Dakota Utilities Co, which is also its majority owner under the MDU Resources Group. The plant utilizes alternative fuel sources and primarily sells its generated power to Great River Energy, contributing to the energy needs of the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area.
