Gilcrest Sun is a solar power facility located in Platteville, Colorado, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region. The plant operates with a capacity of 1.8 megawatts and is managed by MTenant SunNet 2021, which also serves as the majority owner and holding company. The facility operates under an unregulated status and is part of the Public Service Company of Colorado’s power control area. Utilizing solar energy as its primary fuel source, Gilcrest Sun contributes to the growing renewable energy landscape in the region.
