The facility operates with a capacity of 7.5 megawatts and is part of the Duke Energy Carolinas power control area. The plant is managed by Northbrook Energy and operates under an unregulated status. The majority ownership is held by Alliance Fund II, which also serves as the owner holding company. The primary fuel source for the plant is water, harnessed through its hydraulic turbine technology.
