The Francis Scott Key Mall solar facility, located in Frederick, Maryland, operates under the ReliabilityFirst Corporation NERC region. With an operating capacity of 1.6 MW, this solar power plant is managed by PR Francis Scott Key Solar and is part of the PJM Interconnection power control area. The facility is unregulated, allowing for flexible operational strategies. The majority ownership is held by the Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust, which also serves as the owner holding company. Utilizing solar energy as its primary fuel source, the plant contributes to sustainable energy solutions in the region.
