Flint Creek Hydroelectric is a small-scale hydroelectric power plant located in Philipsburg, Montana, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council region. Utilizing hydraulic turbine technology, the plant has an operating capacity of 2 MW, harnessing the power of water to generate electricity. The facility is operated by the Board of County Commissioners of Granite, which also holds majority ownership. As an unregulated plant, Flint Creek primarily sells its generated power to NorthWestern Energy Group, serving as the primary power purchaser in the area.
