Flatiron is a hydraulic turbine power generation facility located in Loveland, Colorado, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region. The plant operates with a capacity of 86 megawatts and is part of the WAPA Colorado-Missouri Region power control area. The facility is managed and operated by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, which also serves as the majority owner and holding company. As an unregulated entity, Flatiron utilizes water as its primary fuel source, contributing to sustainable energy production in the region.
