FastSun 11 is a solar power facility located in Zumbrota, Minnesota, operating under the jurisdiction of the Midwest Reliability Organization. With an operating capacity of 1 MW, the plant contributes to the energy needs of the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s Power Control Area. The facility is managed by Altus Power, which also serves as the majority owner. FastSun 11 operates in an unregulated environment, with ownership held by TPG. The plant harnesses solar energy, utilizing the sun as its primary fuel source to generate clean, renewable power.
