FastSun 1 is a solar power facility located in Dassel, Minnesota, within the Midwest Reliability Organization region. The plant operates with a capacity of 1 megawatt and is integrated into the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area. Altus Power serves as the plant operator, ensuring efficient management and operation of the facility. As an unregulated entity, FastSun 1 is owned by Altus Power America Management, which holds the majority ownership. The facility harnesses solar energy, contributing to the growing renewable energy landscape in the region.
