Falls Creek is a hydropower facility located in Blue River, Oregon, operating under the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region. The plant utilizes hydraulic turbine technology to generate an operating capacity of 4.8 megawatts. Falls Creek is part of the PacifiCorp East and West power control area and is managed by Falls Creek Hydropower LP, which also serves as the majority owner. The facility is unregulated and is held under the ownership of Ontario Power Generation. Utilizing water as its primary fuel source, Falls Creek contributes to the renewable energy landscape in the region.
