Exelon Solar Chicago is a solar power facility located in Chicago, Illinois, operating under the ReliabilityFirst Corporation NERC region. With an operating capacity of 9 MW, the plant utilizes solar technology to harness energy from the sun. It is part of the PJM Interconnection power control area and is operated by Constellation Power. The facility is unregulated and is majority-owned by Constellation Energy Corporation, which also serves as the owner holding company. The primary power purchaser for the energy generated at this plant is Commonwealth Edison Company.
