Estrella Mountain PV is a solar power facility located in Avondale, Arizona, operating under the jurisdiction of the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC). With an operating capacity of 1.8 megawatts, the plant harnesses solar energy to contribute to the local power grid. The facility is managed by Tesla Energy Operations, which also holds majority ownership, under the parent company Tesla. As an unregulated entity, Estrella Mountain PV operates within the Arizona Public Service Company’s power control area, utilizing sunlight as its primary fuel source to generate renewable energy.
