ENGIE Long Draw Solar is a solar power facility located in Gail, Texas, within the Texas Reliability Entity region. With an operating capacity of 225 MW, this unregulated plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. Operated by ENGIE North America, the facility is a key player in the ERCOT power control area. The majority ownership lies with ENGIE North America, a subsidiary of Engie SA. The primary power purchaser for the energy produced at this site is New Braunfels Utilities, making it an integral part of the local energy landscape.
