Elkton Solar is a solar power facility located in Elkton, Maryland, operating under the ReliabilityFirst Corporation NERC region. With an operating capacity of 1.6 MW, the plant utilizes solar technology to harness energy from the sun. It is part of the PJM Interconnection power control area and is operated by Sunedison Services. The facility is unregulated and is majority-owned by Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec, which also serves as the owner holding company. The primary power purchaser for Elkton Solar is the City of Elkton, Maryland.
