The Edwards Sanborn E4 solar power plant, located in Mojave, California, operates under the jurisdiction of the Western Electricity Coordinating Council. With an impressive operating capacity of 148.9 MW, this facility plays a significant role in the California Independent System Operator’s power control area. The plant is managed by Terra-Gen, which also serves as the majority owner, under the ownership of the ECP continuation fund. As an unregulated entity, the Edwards Sanborn E4 harnesses solar energy, contributing to the region’s renewable energy portfolio. Other owners of the power plant include Terra-Gen.
