The Easton Landfill, located in Easton, Massachusetts, operates as a solar power facility with an installed capacity of 1.6 MW. It falls under the jurisdiction of the Northeast Power Coordinating Council and is part of the ISO New England power control area. The plant is operated by Glc-(Ma) Easton and is unregulated in its operations. Firstar Development holds the majority ownership, with US Bancorp as the owner holding company. The facility harnesses solar energy, utilizing the sun as its primary fuel source, and supplies power primarily to the town of Easton, Massachusetts.
