The East Side power plant, located in Klamath Falls, Oregon, operates under the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (NERC Region). Utilizing hydraulic turbine technology, the facility has an operating capacity of 3 MW. It is part of the PacifiCorp E+W power control area and is regulated by the appropriate authorities. The plant is primarily owned and operated by PacifiCorp, which is a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway. The primary fuel source for the plant is water. Other owners of the power plant include PacifiCorp.
