DOCCS Greene is a solar power facility located in Coxsackie, New York, operating under the jurisdiction of the Northeast Power Coordinating Council. With an operating capacity of 5 megawatts, the plant contributes to the New York Independent System Operator’s power control area. The facility is managed by Green Correctional Coxsackie NY Solar, which also serves as the majority owner and holding company. As an unregulated entity, DOCCS Greene harnesses solar energy, utilizing sunlight as its primary fuel source to generate clean, renewable power.
